Let The Light Guide You Forward

To Edie and family,
So sorry to hear that Gussie passed. I will always remember him on Brook street with my dad, and in South Providence of course. What happy days we all had!! I will always be his "Kirkie" and hope he finds my dad up there and resumes the good times!! Love, Cyd

To Fr. Hemenway's family:
My thoughts go back to the 1970's when our family first met Father Hemenway (through my mother-in-law)\. He was very generous with his time, caring and doing for many in the community of Christ Church in Providence. He was a blessing and I thank his family for sharing. May God's Love bring Peace and Comfort to each of you.

Dear Edith,
With love and deepest sympathy at your great loss.
Father Gus embraced life with love for all.
God has welcomed him home with the same.
Rest in peace dear friend.

darkness...

He had a profound impact on the lives of many; he was so generous with his time, he was a great communicator, and he always knew how to make his parishioners smile. I was fortunate to attend Christ Church basically from Kindergarten through College and so I know the dedication that Father Hemenway had to the Church, the people, and the...

Father Hemenway will always be cherished by my family, particularly for the work he did and the support he provided to us and many others in the 1960's. He and Father Alan Mason were highly instrumental in improving our lives during difficult times in South Providence. He will never be forgotten.
