Gus and i go way back to the days of golds gym Jersey city gus lived avout 6 houses away from me in the late 80' gus was my inspiration to bodybuilding he looked amazing back in the day in his early 50's his physique was a site to see the only way i could describe him is a bit like Frank Zane with the help of gus i went from 130 lbs to 165lbs ripped in about 2 years he changed my life i will never forget him I'm 59 years old and I'm hitting the gym one more time and gus is with me again...

Gus was an inspiration to me and also played an important role in my life when I was going through my divorce. He was a loyal friend and I will miss him dearly.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Gus!I met him at BASE gym and he was friendly, and eager to guide me with using the gym equipment! He was a fitness guru. We spoke about health and wellness!I feel sad for Gus and I send my condolences to his family! I will miss not seeing him at the gym!He was special and very caring!May he Rest In Peace!At least he is free from his suffering!He was a positive person who gave a lot to other people!
