Aurelia Ruth Brooks

She was a really nice lady. And very kind and mindfull women. I lived in her property for almost 15 years but never had problems or any kind of misunderstanding. May her sweet soul rest in paradise.

My best friend & Army trainee leader invited me to share a dinner invite, I remember such "Love" & "joy" I felt that evening, I never knew her before the event. May God guide your family through this difficult time & strengthen you with the love she showed strangers.

Aurelia, although I knew her for a very short period of time. She was warm, kind and unforgettable. I admired her. I cannot imagine what the loss of your mother has meant. May God bless you and and all of the family members that she left behind. May you have His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.

Aurelia will be laid to rest on June 5th in Washington DC at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. The family is having a private ceremony. We thank McGuire’s Funeral Home for their assistance and support.

Deepest condolences to the Brooks family. We met in 1962 and I have have the memories of only a small portion Aurelia's legacy. Her "Bright Moments" will be sorely missed.
