Aurora A. Knapp, 92, formerly of Pen Argyl, passed away, Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of the late Robert E. Knapp, who passed away, July 1, 2004.


Born in Pen Argyl, November 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary L. (Rui) Perinotto.


Prior to retiring in 1992, she was employed by various garment mills in the Slate Belt Area, including A&H Sportswear.


She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Tatamy and a member of UNITE.


She is survived by a son, Brian R. Knapp and his wife Karen of Bethlehem, a daughter, Kelly K. Finelli and her husband Stephen D. of Palmer Township, four grandchildren, Michael Finelli and his wife Kayleigh, Alyssa Finelli, Kyle Knapp, and Brianne Knapp, and three great grandchildren, Addison, Teagan, and Lachlan Finelli.


She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Falcone.


Graveside services will be held, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 12 PM at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown Road,  Pen Argyl.  There will be no viewing hours.   The Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, Pen Argyl is in charge of arrangements.

The Knapp family......our condolences on the loss of your Mother. We always enjoyed times spent with your Mom and Dad.

My depeepest sympathies to the Knapp family. Aurora wad such a lovely lady. She was one of my residents both at Naz. And Beth. She was such a treat and she did love her grandchildren and great grandchildren. You are all in my prayers.
