Not sure what to say?

Austin,

I remember you every year and think of you often. I'll never forget running around elementary school and seeing your smiling, bespectacled face. You were one of a kind and truly, truly missed. I hope wherever you are you're at peace and smiling down on your loved ones.

Always,
Kandice

Lana, over a week later and i am still stunned. My heart breaks for you and your family. I will remember the funny, lively boy that spent evenings at my home during the summer. The time I took him and Michael paintballing, and the Halloween they spent together. You have my sympathies.

Lana, I am so sorry for your heartbreaking loss. I reflect on several conversations you and I shared about our children, your Austin and my daughter Lauren. Even though Lauren was two years behind Austin at Hawarden, she knew him well. I will always remember his beautiful smile. You did an amazing job with Austin. He was a wonderful, caring, well mannered young man. We will not forget Austin. Please e-mail me, I would love to talk to you.

Steve and Lanna:

I won't try to rectify the situation with words as words can't do justice to the sadness of your sons passing. My thoughts are with you and your family. Stay strong and know that many here at Riverside County are sharing in your loss.

Steve & Lana,
