Austin Anderson

I had planned on being at Austin's funeral services, but because of the weather last Saturday (freezing temperatures) and my difficulty breathing, I knew I had to stay put! I am truly so very sorry to have missed the services, Cathy!

I didn't know Austin well. However his obituary was beautifully done; very enlightening. I sensed that he was a great and special man, very well respected and involved in many activities during his life time.

You are in my thoughts...

Many good memories of serving with Austin on the Citizens' Recreation Advisory Commission, on which he was an appointed member[by the City or the A2 Schools, I can't remember which] and served at least once as Chair...He was a master of bringing divergent views together, and a gifted drafter of motion and resolution language...a grand friend and colleague, who will be missed....

To the Family of Mr. Anderson, may he rest in peace now as according to Ecclesiastes 2:24 states there is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and find enjoyment in his hard work. VLC
