Not sure what to say?

Dear Bianca & family,
My tears joins yours as you say goodbye to Austin's earthly life. With each new sunrise, memories will surface that have long been forgotten.

So many wonderful memories have come to my mind of the ministry shared with Austin at Community UMC. He knew how to involve people without them realizing they were volunteering. I enjoyed each project that Austin assigned. I cherish those moments when a budding project became a reality.

My heart was at the...

It was a pleasure having Austin as our pastor and friend. He was truly a chosen servant of God. May the words he lived by, help ease your sorrow.

I am sorry for your loss. Any day I met Austin was a ray of sunshine. Austin always had a story or his camera for taking pictures, of which I have a few. God has blessed both of you and the neighborhood will miss him. All my prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss..It was an honor and a blessing to have known Austin..Bowling on Monday night, Mets games with St. Joan's,and just always being a pleasure to talk to...He always found time to go visit my Dad when he was dying (1978) and being moral support for my Mom....We all have another angel watching over us....God Bless his family

Dear Bianca and Family

Please accept my condolences on your loss. Prior to my moving to Richmond, VA, I was a member and usher at Community Methodist Church, and my grandparents, Karl and Freddie May Cook, lived next door to you and Austin. I know that our lives were blessed having you as neighbors, and having Austin as our pastor for those many years.

You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

It was truly an honor to follow Rev. Armitstead at the pulpit of Community Church.

You are missed dearly. My prayers are offered for you, your wonderful wife and family. True man of God and now God is lucky to have you back. A wonderful person, Reverend and a pretty good bowler too. Thank you for all your guidance and kindness.

Austin Armitstead was a long-time friend who made the world a better place.

Armistead family,
I send my condolences. May you turn to God during this painful time to gain true comfort.
