Austin, it has been 6 years since your passing. We are profoundly grateful for and respectful of all you have done for us and your nation. Colonel Bates led a full, busy, active life that he enjoyed. His positive attitude, dedication, and love of people and animals will be missed by all who knew him. His bravery and positive attitude will live on. The Colonel will be missed.
