When I would stand next to Austin we were eye to eye, I could feel his Prent's pride as I would talk to him, and as he would speak back to me. Thinking back I feel Ive never had talks like that with anyone because I am three times his age. I don't have the words to explain how truly special this man is. Like so many, I will miss you Austin. Thank you for being our family's champion.

My heart goes out to the Bice family. Your son was just a nice person to everyone he ever met. Such a wonderful demeanor and a polite and enthusiastic man. He will always be remembered as such. Our deepest sympathy, the Oman family.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to your family. This story hit way too close to home as we have a 21 year old son studying business in Madrid this semester also. Our son, Andrew, also was a former football player and there just seemed to be so many similarities. The news of Austin's disappearance gripped us as we have children in college too. We are heartbroken that such a wonderful young man has been taken from his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Like many that have signed in, you do not know me. But I know the pain. We lost our 28 year old son 6 months ago, and was missing as well. It was only a few hours, but it was enough. And we both have incredible sons with a smile to win the world. We are from San Diego, so wanted to let you know how sorry I am. I cried with you Pamela when I awoke to see the dreaded news that fateful morning. I wish I could say it gets easier. Only knowing who is in control (As I was sure it was me)...
