ELDORADO — Austin Jacob Bruner, 18, of Eldorado, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in Hamilton County.

He was such a nice kid. I would often see him pay attention to the younger kids as he walked by them to leave the building. They looked up to him and many were clamoring for his attention, he would high five them or stop for a few words.

It is so sad to see such a young and talented athlete die like this. My junior year in track I helped Austin up after he fell at the finish line, and never have I seen a kid have more sportsmanship than him. Austin pushed me in running my to all time highs, and without him, I would have never ran the times I did. I wish his family the best. They truly raised a good kid.
