I never met Austin, but the more I get to learn about him and experience friendship with his parents, and watch the students whose lives are being touched by the Austin Builta Memorial Scholarship, the more I wish that I had known their young prince. May Austin enjoy eternal rest, and may Brian, Sarah, and Anna experience the kind of peace that only the Lord can provide.

I've never forgotten how kind and humble Austin was from our days at St.Vincents. My most fond memories from my time spent at St.Vincent has Austin in them too, even when we fell into a freezing lake together, multiple times. We may not have been as close as I wish we were, but I don't think you need to be to appreciate what an amazing person Austin was. Forever in my memories and thoughts, I'll be missing you.

I still think about Austin. He continues to be a part of who I am and always will be. I can honestly say my life is better because of having him in it. Just know that he is never forgotten.
