Austin made me laugh at many a tense moment on the Board of the Actors Union (A.E.A.). his smile always seem to enter the room before he did. I am saddened to read of his death but sit here with a smile on my face for knowing him ... Mark Ski

Austin was one of a kind, and will be missed by many in the Broadway community.
Rest in peace my friend.

It was a joy to spend so many summers with you at Mountain Playhouse. A great theatrical soul. Funny, tart, sassy! I learned so much just being in rehearsal with you. A standing ovation to a real trooper.

Austin's perspectives on a life in the theatre continue to make me smile and give me courage.

Seek prayer for comfort and stay close with family and friends. Heartfelt sympathies - Rom 12:12

Austin, you were such a joy to be around and it was even more joyful to be your friend. Rest in Peace.
