Not sure what to say?

Austin , I miss our talks about fixing the church and the knowledge I got from working with you on the projects. Rest in peace my friend

We are sorry to hear of Austin's passing. Our deepest sympathies are with the family. The loss of Austin will be felt by many. He had a tremendous and generous spirit of giving and sharing his time and expertise, and we're sure he had an impact on all who got to know him.

On behalf of the DCRAC Board, may the memories of his many contributions be celebrated by all.

The DCRAC Board

Austin was one of our dedicated board members at DCRAC until very recently. I will truly miss our conversations about community building, current events, and his stories of sailing and corporate America days. We all have great respect for Austin and miss him dearly.

I worked with Austin for many years at DuPont Chambers Works facility. He always took a positive attitude about an assignment and encouraged people to look for what could be done, rather than what could be not done. His calm approach to leadership was appreciated by all who worked with him. When I first met him he was going by Jerry and when we got back together several years later we always joked about my getting used to calling him Austin. He will be missed.

Austin was a dear Friend and we shared many
special times like Saturday morning breakfast
and movie night. He was always there for me when
i needed help. Going to miss you Buddy and Thank
You for everything that you did for me.

Frank Hollowoy Jr,

Austin was a good man and a friend. We were neighbors on Greenwood Rd for many years. And after I moved to 17th St. a few years ago, I discovered that we were neighbors again. I liked Austin and I am sorry that he has passed. My condolences to Jackie and the boys.

Austin devoted many hours of his time and talents to Mt. Salem United Methodist Church in Rockford Park. We owe him many thanks and Prayers. Bless you. Barbara Bolza

Austin was a great person who would help anyone who needed help. We have fond memories of things that we did together at Mt. Salem UMC in Rockford Park. He was a vital member and will surely be missed by those who knew him.
Austin was a superb wood worker as he could make anything old or broken look new again. We will miss you friend.
Happy sailing Austin,
Ernie & Lynda Castagna
