Austin Victor Iverson

My father, Glade S Wittwer, was born in St George in 1922. He was a good friend of Pete's as they grew up. Glade, my Pappy, joined the Utah National Guard in 1939. The Guard was nationalized just before WWII started. While he was stationed at San Luis Obispo he wrote letters to his wife-to-be, Phyllis Lightner, and he mentioned Pete often, remarking on things like camping and fishing, that they had done together. I am sorry to hear of the passing of Austin. My Mon and Dad loved Lorna and Austin very much. Austin and dad spend many hour talking about their gardens and rocks. Uncle Austin was such a character. i always enjoyed their visits. Us kids call him Uncle Austin. I still have the Geode Rock he gave me many years ago.
