Not sure what to say?

He was the last doctor who sat with me in his office and discussed what was wrong he was known as the doctor's doctor, and he will be missed

I will always remember dr. Schlecker as one of the finest people and one of the most outstanding doctors I've ever known. He was my mother's doctor for years, he was my doctor and he also treated my son.

Not only was dr. Schlecker very intelligent, but he was a very caring and compassionate human being. I always looked forward to my appointments with him. There were occasions where I was feeling sick, and that is why I made the appointment. Just the fact that dr. Schlecker walked...

Dr Schlecker was my attending when I was an intern and resident at Maimonides in 1964-65. He was a model of a clinical teacher and I remember him with great fondness and appreciation.

Dr. Schlecker was a kind and caring soul.He was a wonderful doctor with the patience of a saint. Austin was a good friend. Hew will be missed.

Austin Schlecker was my Chief Resident at Maimonides Hospital when I was an intern there in 1955-1956. We were friends ever since. His beloved wife Lucille went to school with my wife Marlyne (a coincidence) and always was arranging a shidduch with our 4 daughters and 3 granddaughters. Although it never happened, our double connection was very special. Dr. Schlecker also took care of my brother Howard for decades. The world mourns two very precious people.

Dr Schlecker cared for my grandmother
and my parents for many years. They should wait hours to see him. But always worth his professionalism and excellent diagnostic skills. Rest in peace.

Austin was a gentle & inspiring teacher & a caring, thorough physician. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Austin Schlecker treated three generations of my family with a tremendous amount of dignity, respect and unending dedication. He was a brilliant physician and astute educator. He will be missed, but certainly never forgotten. Now it's time for you to rest in eternal peace with your beloved wife, Lucille. May the Almighty comfort you among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
