Not sure what to say?

My mother, Ruth Ann (Cole) Harding, went through high school with Jeannie at St. Petersburg High and speaks fondly of her all the time. Jeannie was one of her closest lifelong friends. She loved Jeannie very much. Ruth Ann regrets she was unable to attend Jeannie's service, as she is in an assisted living facility in Tampa. Our love and sympathy goes out to her entire family. God bless you all.

Jeanne was a special part of my life for all of my 34 years. She was my "grandmother". She used to name the birds we fed after us grandkids. We'd feed the ducks too and watch old movies. She and my Boompa always let us stay up til midnight when they had us stay over on New Year's. She taught me how to play the organ. She lived every day to the fullest and looked at the world with child-like vigor. I will always think fondly of our times together over the years and will miss her dearly. I know...

Jeannie loved babies. When mine were little (they are now 34 and 36) she wanted to be with them and loved them so. She wrote down all the funny things they said and drew caricatures of them. My children and I loved Jeannie--she was their step-grandmother and will always be remembered by us as a dear, kind-hearted lady who didn't have a mean bone in her body. Loved her family, animals, butterflies and babies!

When I saw Jeanne's obit., it brought back so many great memories of our time at PAL. As a young girl, Jeanne taught Linda and I all the facets of fencing. We would go every Saturday and practice our skills under her guidance. She would take us to tournaments all over the state. It was a very enjoyable time and left me with many great memories. As she rests in God's loving arms, may she know that we are forever thankful for the good times she shared with us and made us the people we are...

So very sorry to hear about your Mom, Lynne. I remember all the fun we had at your house as kids and how nice she was to put up with all of us. May she rest in peace.
Love to you and your family,
Patty
