I am remembering Austin today. Prayers to his family. Loved watching him on This Old House. Such a heartbreaking kiss of a beautiful man

I was deeply saddened to hear of Austin's passing. I watched him on past This Old House episodes. He seemed like a great spirit and a wonderful young man with a great future. Life is not always a fair experience and his early passing unfortunately proved that. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family for having such a wonderful young man. I've watched Austin's episodes a few times and still my heart is touched. My heart goes out to the family who lost this wonderful young man. Thanks to this old house for such a caring community he surely was surrounded by such amazing people. Rest in peace and hope to meet you in paradise.

I watch episodes of This Old House every day, and have been impressed with their efforts to promote community involvement through a variety of educational and volunteer activities. Seeing Austin as an aspiring young apprentice was uplifting. He seemed to be smart, energetic, and eager to learn in order to perfect his knowledge of the building trades. I only knew Austin from TOH. He seemed like such a great kid, and I was heartbroken to hear of his passing. Thanks for bringing us a great person, even for a little while. Blessings to his family.

Though I never met Austin, I was so touched when I same him in TOH and learned of his death at such a young age. I often remember him and the impression he left on my life as his story touched my heart. Once again, I lift up Austin´s family as you remember him. I pray that only beautiful memories flood your hearts.
