Ava TERRY

I was just thinking about Ava this morning. I was so glad that she was able to reconnect with Rick Smith before she passed. May she rest in peace. -- Oh, have a funny story -- I bought a beautiful little peach nosegay to take to Ava and I went to the gates of the cemetery and couldn't figure out why they weren't open. Well, good shiksa Joani didn't know that your cemeteries are closed on the Sabbath -- I tried! Sending lots of love to you!

Dear Lila,

I was so glad that I was able to recently reconnect with my dear friend Ava. She was the second friend that I met at Madison Jr. High and she was always there with a big smile on her face. I mentioned a line that I remembered her saying back in the early 1960's -- "you make your own fun." When I told her that she said that her grandmother used to say that all the time. So, perhaps Ava and your grandmother are smiling down on you now.

Lila, you were always...

Ava kept a statue on her living room of an angel bestowing care and kindness on two small animals. This angel was for her to emulate. She gave money to people when she thought it will provide for a real need, not just here and there, but sometimes she supported people for a period of time, and not just friends and family. I remember she was touched by a man whom she met at the EDD, she supported him for few months, without asking or getting anything in return, just because she was convinced...

Ava: I will never forget you. The world needs more people like you....always there for others with a HUGE heart & always helping the underdog. I know you will be missed by MANY. I miss you....My condolences to Jason, Lila, Neil and other family members I may be missing ....

Lila and Jason,I am so sorry ,Ava was like a sister to me, we argued and made up and laughed and cried together over the years.My Love,Thoughts and Prayers are with you both during this difficult time,I will miss her very much.
