Not sure what to say?

Correction: 1st Armored Division; not the 2nd. We were in the 1st Armored Division Band together.

'66, '67: Fort Hood, Tx; We were together in the 2nd Armored Div. Band. Wish I got to know you better.
Would like to meet your family.

RIP ASU Alumn and Marching Hornet.. Life well served!

I send my prayers and condolences to my cousins Akilah and Miriam. I was 6 years old the last time I had seen you guys. I was saddened when you moved away. Over time, I did see your father when he would sometimes visit my mom Alice. It was a joy to see him, but I am very shocked to the news of Handsome's passing. I pray the Most High Living God will give you all peace.

My prayers are with you during this difficult time

Rest In Peace My Brother! Thanks for the jazz book and the music theory lesson. Thanks for being a great mentor!

Avery lived in my apartments for a number of years in the eastern area of B'ham. He was a joy to be around and we became friends. Avery was also a very talented musician and he shared his talent with me often. I loved Avery and his family will be in my prayers in their loss, but God's gain. Ronnie Roddam

May you rest in God's loving arms.

I took private trumpet lessons from Mr Beavers back around 1976.

He was a talented man and loved to play Jazz. One who smiled while playing his horn.

Praying for you family.

Rest in peace my brother. One of the best trumpet players in the world.
