Having a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, Avery Chandler was a tremendous resource for colleagues and students at Mott Community College. With personal integrity and a genuine concern for people, Avery was a ready conversationalist, eager to share insights, advice and nuggets of information with anyone willing to listen. Through the course of my tenure at MCC, I had many philosophical conversations with Avery; and, my life was greatly enriched by having known him.
