Not sure what to say?

In 1983 we met Avery walking along the road, on Beals Island going up to his parents home to find help to pull lobster traps as his winch was broken. I asked him if there was a chance we, my wife and our 2 boys could help him and he told me to bring along my camera. We spent an incredible day with him, catching lobsters, crabs, conches, and everything imagined. After our experience we were invited into his home to enjoy a wonderful seafood meal. The first lobsters that any of us ever...

Dear Diana and family,

Diana,

I was so sorry to hear that Avery had passed away. We shared lots of ups and downs during our long stays at the SICU unit at Lahey, and you showed great courage, fortitude, and a positive attitude through all of it. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Diana and family,
I am so sorry for your great loss. My days are just not the same, starting every day visiting Avery, and then the two of you each afternoon (with the additional family and friends). Avery was an incredibly strong man, and was so loved. Diana, I can't thank you enough for bringing in those "crazy Avery" stories and pictures which helped those of us who worked with him to get to know this wonderful man. You and your family personify what strength, faith, devotion,...

To The Family:
Avery touched everyone he ever met with his stories, his laughter, his smile. His eyes would light up and he'd tell an unbelievable story. And seeing it was Avery Kelley that was talking, you would believe every word he spoke. I doubt that he ever even knew my name, but he brought laughter to my life every time i saw the man. In my mind Avery Kelley is, was, and will always be a legend in Downeast Maine.

My deepest sympathy to all of the family.

Dear Aunt Di and Family,so sorry to hear about Uncle Avery. He will be missed by all.Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Dianna,
You and Avery were the first to say hello to me when I moved to Beals. Avery came down the hill with a jar of cranberry sauce which was perfect because it was Thanksgiving week. I will never forget such thoughtful neighbors. You were my family on Beals.

With loving thoughts, Jean

D'Anna & Mitchell and family of Avery Kelley:
