Dear Rubin family: I have just found this notice of Aviva´s death. When we lived on Oakdale St. in Chicago Aviva generously loaned us an extra crib when our twins were born. Thus also was born Tom´s and my long friendship with her and Harvey. They visited us in the Seattle area, we reciprocated at their Evanston residences. Always delightful and fun. Confined to email the last few years, we kept in touch. I zoom-attended Harvey´s memorial but am sorry to have missed Aviva´s ....I hope...

I worked with Aviva at Northwestern University. I was in charge of publications produced by Student Affairs. She edited the prize winning Student Handbook and Parents Quarterly and she did a superb job. We became friends and I will miss her. I also met her dear husband who was such a brilliant man.
