Not sure what to say?

Azela and I have been good friends for many years. We quilted together, did needlepoint, I have a beautiful wool rug I made on one of her looms, and we spent many hours together working on her gardens. She was a true treasure in the OT department, where I first met her as an OT student in the 60´s and we continued our friendship at St Rose of Lima church in Roseville. I remember taking her to the Mn State Fair and I remember her saying that after spending over 12 hours together she said...

Remembering Azela as a kind and supportive instructor of OT classes. Prayers for her family.

Azela was an exceptional teacher, mentor, and friend. She was our OT model in the 60's.

Azela was a kind, sensitive and inspiring part of my education at St. kates. A great Occupational Therapy Department and she was a great teacher.

Azela inspired me to work in psychiatry. She was helpful in guiding my OT passion. Class of 1978

A powerhouse! She will be missed.

Azela was my advisor and a great mentor in OT-class of 1971. She was always so calming and such a great listener. Among my fond memories of St. Catherine´s.

Azela was my advisor for my Occupational therapy degree. She was an amazing woman of intellect and compassion. She will be missed. My prayers go out to all who loved her. May the Lord grant you peace of heart and mind as you grieve her earthly loss, but cling to the hope that she is now beholding the Face of God and knows only perfect love and joy for all eternity. God bless. Paulette Kostick class of 1987

Azela was my advisor and fieldwork coordinator while I was a student at St.Kates. She was always a calming spirit and source of comfort especially during one very trying fieldwork placement. She will always hold a fond place in my heart. I am so blessed to have been part of her life if even for a short time. Jeanne Bueckers Travis, Occupational Therapy class of 1991
