Azzam Sadeq Kanaan

I had the privilege of working for Dr.Kanaan, at KNI in the early 1990's, as an MRI Technologist. I will never forget his kindness and generosity.

I never, ever knew a kinder, more gentle man than Azzam.

Azzam was one of the best human beings I have ever meet no he and Shadia were a model couple of what humanity can become! Sympathy to the entire family

A dear friend who knew Azzam very well wrote a farewell letter to Azzam in Arabic. I would like to share with family and friends the English translation of what he wrote.

"Honorable men do not die before they make history...
Heroes do not die before embracing courageously their last battle in their homeland...

When we first heard the name Azzam Kanaan in 1975 we thought it was a magical name. We were soon to learn that Azzam's magic was to touch so many lives with his generosity, kindness and intelligence. Shadia and family. My deepest sympathy to your family. I did electrical work in your new home after you moved in. Your family treated me like family while I was working for you. Dr. Kanaan was a very kind man to work for.

Dr Kanaan was the kindest man that I knew. He helped me tremendously. He will be missed by all at Orrin B Hayes.
