B. Boyd Jeffers

Your Dad was a truly remarkable man who did so much for his family, community and Scouts. I still have my Boy Scout patches and great memories of Avondale and LSU football games. That was 43 years ago and I still remember those days like yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We will remember him always. He had a wonderful life, family and legacy. We are all better for his leadership and mentoring. God Bless Mr. Jeffers!!!!

Mr. Boyd was the best scoutmaster ever! He inspired me to my Eagle and later I became the scoutmaster of my son's troop. I now know the pride of a scoutmaster who has done a good job, as I have over 20 Eagles under me. I have since retired from scouting, but I have many Tiger football games, summer camps, a Philmont trek, and other priceless memories remain from my time in Mr. Boyd's troop! Heaven has gained a great man!

Dee, I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that you find comfort in the great memories you have shared over the years. Daddy(Uncle Robert), always spoke so highly of Uncle Boyd and was always was so proud of his accomplishments. Much love and many prayers from my family to yours.

Many great memories with the Jeffers's family over the years of my youth! BSA was a huge family and cultivated many many friendships over the years Mr Boyd was a big part of that! May god bless this family and grant them peace and solace in the coming days.
