Not sure what to say?

I did not find out Dr. Estess had passed till recently. I was Doc’s ranch manager at Canton from 2006 to 2010. My family and I have very fond memories of this kind and caring man. He treated everyone as his own. One of my most influential employers of my lifetime. When we found out we were saddened. Our condolences to the family. We shall meet again my friend.

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Estess who saved my life in May 1972. He literally carried me on an elevator to the lower level of Presbyterian Professional Building and into the ED. I was bleeding out from an ectopic pregnancy and in a semi coma when diagnosed. He is always in my heart.

May the family be comforted by Jesus'
promise of seeing your dear loved one again. John 6:40.

My mom, Joan B. Mason shared such a wonderful memory of Dr. Estess last night when we discussed their friendship dating all the way back to Lamar High School in Houston.

He was fond of describing how much he loved delivering babies, saying "every delivery's like opening presents at Christmas!"

My condolences to the entire family. I could not have had a finer doctor. God bless

Henry and I graduated from Lamar High School together and were later both medical students living in the AKK house in Galveston. That was a long time ago, but I have nothing but pleasant memories of our friendship. Please accept my sincere condolences. Bill Banks, M.D., Houston.
