Not sure what to say?

Chris and Ellen- I know the hurt you feel but may you find peace in the love you shared and the many memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Chris and Ellen,
We want you to know that our hearts go out to you. Chris, we know how much your brother meant to you and that is very honorable. We send our love from far away!
Stephen, Pat, and Christopher

Judge Leahy was a truly special man and tireless advocate for the causes in which he believed. His advocacy for progressive policies in the juvenile justice arena will be sorely missed. Perhaps more importantly, his kindness, wit and warmth always made his passionate opinions seem less like diatribes, and more like the wisdom they were. My prayers go out to his family in their time of loss.

Judge Leahy was a fine man with a great smile, sense of humor and wit. He was dedicated to the legal profession. My husband Steve clerked for him. The Judge also performed our wedding ceremony at The Manor in West Orange in 1980. It was a lovely and touching service and he and his wife were guests at our wedding. He will be sorely missed by everyone whose life he touched. May he be greeted kindly at the Gates of Heaven.
