Mary,

We wanted to let you know we love you and think about you often.

We would have been there, but as you probably know Mama had a massive stroke on Chrismas Day and she was not feeling at the time of Vernon's passing.

Vernon was very special to both of us, as you are too, and we miss him greatly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and please forgive me because I haven't contacted you sooner.
