Not sure what to say?

Dear Elaine....We, just found out in the last few days of the passing of Aunt Gladys....We are so very SAD for your loss and all of us who thought highly of her! Was there any other way? So many GOOD memories...and appreciation for her acts of Kindness.....Giving a lifetime of Love...now forever in Peace.

So sad to learn recently of the passing of Gladys Stumpf. I very fondly remember Gladys Stumpf (Mrs. Gladys Rice at the time that I knew her). She was my teacher at Gregory Avenue School in the early 50s. I was in her 4th grade class as well as her 5th grade class. There were combined 3rd and 4th grades as well as combined 4th and 5th grades. I was fortunate enough to have had her for both 4th and 5th grades. I have only the fondest memories of Mrs. Rice. We are saddened by the loss of the light that Gladys was. The world is now poorer for the loss of Gladys, but surely heaven has been enriched by her presence. Our condolences to the whole family, especially to Elaine and Tony. We are leaving Orange - and New Jersey - with a heavier heart than we'd expected, but we also rejoice in the wonderfully long and rich life that Gladys lived, bringing laughter and love into the lives of everyone she touched.

Our thought's and prayer's to the family, especially Elaine, and Anthony Corrao. She will be dearly missed. Heartfelt sorrow,
Love, Jim and Marlene Corrao

In fact, when I trim them in the next few days, I will be thinking of you! With tears in my eyes, I will miss you. But, I know that...

Gladys and I were members of All Saints Episcopal Church in Orange. She was a faithful member and a strong supporter of my ordination to the priesthood. Well done, good and faithful servant. May you now rest in peace and rise in glory.
