Not sure what to say?

I still think of Mrs. Compton over the years and my thoughts and prayers are still with your family. I loss my husband several years ago so I understand how your feel and even after the years go by the pain of loss still stays with you. All we can do is cherish all the memories we have and keep them safe in our hearts.

O MOTHER DEAR

Oh mother dear you fill my life with wonder
In all you do you show me how to live.
Now I must say "Thank you for your patience"
And in return these things to you I give.

I give you praise and love for watching over me
I give you peace of mind you've done your best.
As my example which I followed faithfully
I feel assured with God's love I am blessed.

O mother dear I'll hold your standards inside my...

To the Compton Family
I just want to express my sincere sympathy to you all. Mrs. Compton was my teacher at Bethlehem VoTech class of 1971. She was a wonderful teacher and just a beautiful person. I remember having her to my house for a luncheon with some of my former classmates and being so surprised when she showed us a scrap book she had made of all her former students. It made us all realize what a special teacher and person she was to want to keep in touch with all our lives even...

Dear U. Bob, Glenn, and Bob,
When the Lord took my mom when I was little, He gave me A. Lucy to replace her. And no one else could fit those shoes except for her. She was there whenever I needed her. I have been grateful for the time we spent together in the last few years. She always understood me, loved me, and filled me with God's wisdom. She was always my example of what I wanted to be like. Everyone is blessed to have had her as a part of their lives. What a legacy she leaves...

The Compton Family
Mrs. Compton was my Health Assistant teacher at the Bethlehem Area Vo Tech School 1973. She inspired me to become an LPN of which I have been for 33 years. She also inspired me so much that I used her picture from the yearbook this year at The Friends of Nursing banquet sponsored by Lehigh Valley Hospital this year May 15, 2007 at The Holiday Inn. She was a great inspiration to me. My mom had died that year and she was such a comfort. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to...

To All The Family:
Mrs. Compton was the school nurse while I was a student at Southern Lehigh High School. She always took good care of me.
I also met her again a few times when she did her "hat" shows.
My sincere sympathy goes out to You.

Dear Bob, Glenn, I am so sorry to hear about Lucille. I would always run into her and Robert at the diner before or after church on Sundays and we would talk. To my understanding it is that my grandfather, Elmer Hill and your grandfather on your fathers side were half brothers. I have a bible that I would like you to have, it was my grandfathers. It has a list of all births and baptisms on the Compton side of the family.I would like you to have this bible. Please get a hold of me so I can...

Dear Bob and family,

How fortunate you all are to have had such a unique wife and mother in your lives. She was a very special lady in many ways to many people. I hope happy, fond and loving memories help to ease the sorrow in losing such a vital person. She left a lasting impression on so many people. I doubt that anyone who every met her will forget her. We, along with other former neighbors, miss her daily walks, her Christmas get-togethers, and her news letters. She always...

U. Bob, Bobby, & Glenn, It was so wonderful to see all of you. The children were delightful and U. Bob was such a soldier to stand and greet everyone so. I am sorry we had to miss Wed. service as I am sure that it was impressive as was the lady herself. She was a positive impact on all of the Lincoln girls in different ways but an independent contrast to our saintful mother and that was a good thing in our day and age. I will never forget her or her lessons.
