Not sure what to say?

God, how I miss BJ, Lex and Mac. Knowing BJ was an education and an absolute joy. A complex gentleman, he shared freely his life experience and wisdom. Highly intelligent, he was always a sincere conversation ( unless he was pulling your leg ), always present with his Southern Cordiality, a wonderful mix of patient teacher and actor. I didn't know of his part in D-Day, but I'm not surprised as he was genuinely humble. I came to know him and Lex through my friendship with Mac. I was always...

RIP Mr Hopper.

Just watched Because of Winn Dixie. He was a really good actor. At the party in the movie, I could tell that he was a really nice man, reminded me of my uncle. Wished I could have met him. Lori Muirhead of Flora, MS.

Mac, I only know your Dad through you and through his emails. But, I know what a special man he was because of you. You have my sympathy.

He enriched the lives of Dee and I for over half a century and was never less than kind and loving and accommodating. Like they do on Broadway, his passing was noted by all of us by a brief dimming of our heartlights.

Mac,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. He and your family have always been very special to me. Your mom took me to the Little Theater every night to work with her on Carousel. And, your Dad always treated me like I was one of the actresses of the theater. My parents trusted me with your parents. And, I loved hanging around with you. You always treated me kindly and gave me great hugs. I have tried to contact you on FB and your Dad, also. Hope God has been good to...

Mac, i remember meeting your dad the first time in the early 70's and then again in the late 70's or early 80's. each time i was impressed by his easy smile and friendly nature. i do believe that got him through this life and will serve him well in the next. God bless the Hoppers! Love from Paul and Kathy Hummer.

I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with BJ only once, but witnessed his immense talent in many other productions at the BRLT. He was an incalculable artist and an engaging man. He will be greatly missed by many more than me.

My heart goes out to you.
