B.V. (Dexter) Brooks of Westport, CT died Wednesday, August 31st, two days before his 85th birthday at AmeriMed Hospital in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico of a heart attack. Three days earlier he had suffered a first heart attack while on a cruise ship out of San Francisco bound for New York City....

Dexter Brooks was a wonderful man and true Patriot. His defense of his alma mater Dartmouth from elements at the college who contributed to Dartmouth's decline is historic. We at Yorktown University knew Dexter for his commitment to the limited government of the Founding Fathers, and his love of his country. All of us are saddened by his death, and pray for him and his family.
