I love you Giddo. I wish we could've spent more time together. God just gained another angel when he took you away from us. I love you Giddo

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome...

I am glad to have known Bachir for the last 3 years and so enjoyed his smile when I sang for him. He was a special person and I love seeing the photograph of him when he was younger and hearing a little of what sounds like a fascinating life. Though I missed saying goodbye (he was gone by the time I arrived yesterday) I sang Those Were The Days and dedicated it to him as a tribute. My thoughts go to his family, especially to those I saw regularly at Beaumont on Sunday afternoons.
