Read MoreWe did not have the privilege of knowing Banks personally, but do cherish the friendship and professional relationship we have with Tom and Claire and that our daughter has with Doug and Reed. He left a lovely legacy here for the rest of us. We are saddened over this loss. We pray you find comfort in your memories and from the support of family and friends. I only knew Banks over the past few years but always enjoyed my visits with him. He always took the time to show me his research and photographs and to share wonderful stories of his and Louise's travels.
He was such a vibrant person with a love for travel that I find it hard to believe he is gone. Our sympathies to the entire family,
