Dear Karen and family - my sincere sympathy on Barbara's passing. She was a very caring person. It was enlightening to read about her amazing life.

We all miss our spunky, hot-ticket, friendly neighbor so much, but we know she has missed Roy terribly, and she's with him again. We love you, Miss Barbara. Thank you for being such an incredibly welcoming neighbor, a wonderful friend, and such an incredible inspiration to our girls.

All of us connected at the Seven Hills Foundation ( the successor organization to the WAARC)send our condolences to Barbara's family and friends. Barbara did wonderful things for Children's Friend. We loved her and are grateful she cared so much for our mission. Our sympathy goes to her whole family.

Karen, my deepest sympathies to you and your children. I always enjoyed my time with your Mom when she would come into the salon. As you know she missed your Dad so much, now their together again. That alone should give you some peace. Stay strong.

I worked at Camp Joy durin the 1970s. I am sad to hear of the passing Barbara.
