Barbara I. Arnold age 98 of Brown City died July 18, 2025 at her home. She was born on April 16, 1927 in Kelso, WA to Raleigh and Karry Foster. She graduated from Walla Walla High School Class of 1945. Barbara married Edgar Lloyd Arnold on September 19, 1945.
She was a housewife and mother and was a supervisor at Oakdale Center in Lapeer for 22 years. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting making 37 baby blankets and many Afghans.
She is survived by six children Edgar (Ellen) Arnold, Dave (Becky) Arnold, Stephen Arnold, Marilee (Roger) Wilcox, Michael (Soe) Arnold, Karen (James) Tosch, a daughter in law, Barbara Arnold,19 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Deborah (1977) and a son Galen Arnold (2013).
Visitation will be Friday July 25, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and burial will be in Burnside Township Cemetery.
