She was the sweetest person to everyone. I meant her through church. She will be missed.

Barb Bacon...a teachers teacher. Rest in peace and know that you made a difference in so many of your students lives. I worked at Alger school in the 1970´s as a custodian. I remember her well. Her students respected her as a teacher, her classroom was always neat and orderly, and she treated all students and staff with grace. I am thankful to have known her.

I always said if I was going to be a teacher I wanted to teach 3rd grade and be just like Miss Bacon. I loved being in her class. I hope she knew how much she was loved and respected by the hundreds of kids whose lives she enriched. She was one of those teachers who could never be forgotten. My condolences to her family and friends.

Miss Bacon was my favorite teacher of all time!! I went to Alger in the mid 70's next month I turn 59!! Always wondered how she was doing. She was the best teacher ever!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Again!! Mike Waalkes Grandville Mi
