My condolences to Larry and Ellen. My family knew your family for a long time in Verona. I'm sorry that I did not know about the wake at Prout over the weekend - just found out about your mom's passing early this week. I remember spending time at your house when we were kids. I remember when your mom took a number of black and white photos of my dad, my mom, my two brothers, Sam (our beloved golden retriever), and me, for a family portrait. Those were some great pictures.

Barbara was a great friend during my years in Verona. She was a very strong supporter and help during the time of the Newark Sharing Program in 1968/9. We worked together on the Summer Park program that followed. A true believer in opportunity for all.

Barbara was immensely proud of her family and was the ultimate advocate for her work colleagues.
