Not sure what to say?

Mrs Barbour was my English teacher when I was in school. She was such an amazing inspiration to me and helped me to perfect my penmanship. She was one of my favorite teachers. She will be greatly missed and greatly appreciated

I'd been missing Barbra since she moved to Oregon. Her number ceased to work and she did not reply to my mail. I was heart broken to find this obituary. I loved her so much. One of the he best friends I had.

She was a very good person. She had so many talents and shared her life with so many. I'm sure she is just as busy in the heavens sharing as always. I miss you Barbara

Barbara was a free spirit, her own person, and brought so many people together over her lifetime. She hosted so many events and gatherings for Family Tree including but not limited to: workshops, ski weekends, hikes, dancing, sharing of food and her space. So many good memories! We also enjoyed Martha's Vineyard bicycling, camping, hiking trips as well. She lived a long life, and she enriched mine.

So sorry to hear of Barbara´s passing. I have fond memories of dancing with her and her many friends at one of her back yard parties. She was such a free spirit. Dance on Barbara!

My sympathies to Nick, Bob, and Don. The obituary really described her well. She was like the hippie mother of the old neighborhood. A very nice person. RIP.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. I worked with her at Hillside Junior High for many years. She was a free spirit, principled and thoughtful. I love the obituary; it says it all.

Barbara was the best teacher a girl like me could have had. She taught me how to think out side the box and question whether the box was actually a box !!! She taught me that it was and is alright not to be like everyone else and just be myself, she made a huge impression on me that is still with me today. Very few teachers stand out for me, Mrs. Barbour was the first in a very short line. She was my 7th grade English teacher at Hillside Jr. High in Manchester, I was very impressionable and...

Barbara was a friend and occasional traveling companion - adventurous and fun-loving. We will miss her laughter. My condolences to Barbara's sons.
