Barbara Ellen Barnes

Barbara was a wonderful woman and friend. We will miss Barbara and Johnny

I met Barbara through Catholic Daughters and we served on the State Board together for several terms including the present. She always had a smile and was so positive a real joy and the best friend you could ask for. Through her I met Johnny, Helen and Donna. May she and Johnny rest in peace. My prayers are offered for the rest of the family. Memories are forever. Peace and blessings.

I met Johnny and Barbara when I went to work for Durango School District. Barbara was always smiling, always positive, always a friend that I could talk to. She wasn't just that way with me, but with everyone. (From the kids, to the teachers, to her co-workers, to the administration. She was patient, kind, dependable, and everyone loved her. Including me. God just got another Angel.
