I remember "Miss Barry" when she was my teacher back in the mid 50's. One of the best teachers I ever had, she had the entire class completely devoted to her. At recess, we all scrambled to hold her hand and escort her around the playground. And when she bestowed a compliment on you for correctly answering a question, you were a hero for the rest of the day. A wonderful teacher to be sure. God rest her kind soul.
