My deepest sympathy goes out to Ann and John. I worked with your mother at Andrews when she was Assistant Head and I was Dean of Girls. I was glad when she returned and headed the school. I found my association with her to be very rewarding both personally and professionally.

Barbara was my mom's best friend for as long as I can remember. My family and I were lucky to be a part of her life. I know how much we will miss her, and how much my mom will miss her closest friend.

Barbara and I were friends at Andrews, both times that she was there. She was great to work with and for.

Barbara and I were friends for 38 years; we taught together at Laurel; our children grew up together; on occasion, we traveled together. I will sorely miss her.

I had Mrs. Beesley as an English teacher at Laurel and I really enjoyed her class! I still remember some of the short stories we read and her red hair... My condolences to the family--"BKB" was a great lady and influential teacher!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Barbara's family. Though I only knew Barbara for a short time, she started our Nauset Newcomer's Singles Book Discussion group. This group has continued, but we will sadly miss her inspirations and guidelines for books to discuss
