Kato and Barb at Knapp Charter

To Barb's Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. I knew Barb through the therapy dog program at Knapp Charter. Throughout the years we visited the school we experienced and observed Barb's love for her students and her gentle spirit. We will miss her and will be praying for your family.

Sincere condolences on the loss of a very special person. I am so grateful to have known Barb through the Dog Therapy program at Knapp Charter. She was a very kind and gentle soul, always welcoming. May you find peace in knowing the many hearts she touched.

To Barb Befus' family,
I am saddened to hear of Barb's passing -- she was truly a bright light in the world and will be missed by many more people than you may know. I knew Barb through the therapy dog program at Knapp School; she was a kind and gentle teacher, beloved by the children, and beautifully creative involving the dogs in making the children's "therapy" feel like play. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Barb was truly an amazing person. I will never forget all the wonderful times our families have experienced together. My thoughts and prayers will be with Uncle Jack, Leana, Audrey, and Reed at this difficult time. I love you guys.

Jack and family,

I'm so sorry to hear that you have lost her love and companionship here and now. It's a comfort, I hope, to know that her suffering is over and that she is dancing with the Lord, but it is still a profound loss for you and your family here. I will pray for you and your family that you find peace and acceptance and that you can find some solace in the knownedge that the newest "angel" in Heaven will be watching over you.

I was ill and unable to work...

Jack, Leana, Audrey, Reed, I am shocked to hear a few minutes ago that your Beloved Wife and Mother is gone from your sight. She brought Peace and Love. Barb is the woman of valor described in Proverbs 31:10. She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. My memory of her is a trustworthy woman who didn’t waste words and knew the right thing to do at every moment. Barb blessed everyone.

Jack and Family, words cannot express our sorrow when we heard of Barb's passing. She was an inspiration to us and all who knew her. She was a true friend no matter the circumstances and always willing to say a prayer, offer encouragement or show kindness to anyone seeking her help or advice. She is admired and loved. Our prayers are with you all.

My condolences to the whole Befus family as you grieve this loss and rejoice in Barb's presence with her Savior. May God's peace descend and cover all of you during these trying times.

Barb was a one of a kind friend. How blessed I am for knowing her!
Peace to all of Barb's family.
