SPRINGFIELD – Barbara A. (Deso) Belanger, 81, a native and lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was born on July 18, 1935, was raised in Springfield and was educated in local schools. She was a passionate Bingo player and was known in various local venues. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Belanger, Sr. Barbara is survived by 2 sons, Glenn P. Belanger and his wife Debra and Robert J. Belanger, Jr. and his wife Ann, all of Ludlow, a daughter, Debra Coty of Three Rivers, her 7 grandchildren, Michael Benjamin, Nicole Corcoran, and Ashley, Robert, Samantha, Justin and Jeremy Belanger and their families. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. in the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St., Chicopee
