Prayers for comfort and strength from our Heavenly Father to cover all who are grieving now and in the days to come.

My parents moved to the house across from Mrs. Bell's almost 17yrs ago. It was late November and late at night, around 9:30pm, when my Dad and I were unloading the U-Haul. We were wrestling a heavy mattress toward the door when a short, heavily bundled up lady with a wooly toboggan and mittens suddenly poked her head around the corner-end, shined a flashlight up into our faces and declared, "Cold night to be moving." Joan was such a wonderful lady! She was a good friend to my mother, Carolyn Jennings, who always looked forward to the Christmas party she gave. She will be missed!
