Barbara Jane Benton

Barbara was born August 17, 1971 to James and Priscilla Benton, she was the youngest of 4 girls. She graduated from Valley high school and went on to become a licensed Cosmetologist. She worked for Nordstrom’s for many years and was also a freelance makeup artist. Barbara will be deeply missed by her family and friends and all that knew her. She was a selfless and caring person who would drop whatever she was doing to help someone in need. She would take food and supplies to the homeless and often would take someone into her home that needed a place to stay. She loved working in her yard and decorating it for Halloween and Christmas she went all out on the decorations to the point where she had people driving by to see what she had created. She loved camping, and crafting and most of all she loved cooking, she would make up her own creations and they would always be something great. She will be missed tremendously.

Barbara is Survived by her Daughter Adrianne, Mother Priscilla Benton, 3 siblings Valerie Benton, Becky Wallgren, Debra Tognarelli (Mike) and her Boyfriend Boyd Higginbotham, 8 Nieces and nephews, 18 Great Nieces and nephews and 1 Great Great Niece. Barbara was preceded in death by her father James Benton, brother in law Steve Wallgren and Nephew Trevor Yarrington.

The family would like to thank Sherelle (Jaramillo) Hill for all the time and effort she has put in to help with the services, she was always a big part of Barbs life.

There will be a viewing held Monday, January 27, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton Utah 84065
