Not sure what to say?

She knows my best friend Margaret Busche who lived on Pleasant Street Mahone Bay for forty years and also nearly 100.

A great Holyoker. Condolences to Barbara's family, and many, many friends.

I'm Barby Harwell. I met Barbara in 2011 at my Dad's Dartmouth Reunion. My Dad was Jim Towsen. My brother and sister also had the pleasure of meeting Barbara. We continued going through 2016. Barbara was a warm and loving lady, Just like a Mom. Barbara and I continued communicating throughout the years. I loved hearing about her family, whom she loved dearly and so proud of.
Barbara will surely be missed.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Just learned of Barbara´s passing. She reminded me so much of my Mom. Loved her newspaper columns & admired her deep Faith. God bless, strengthen & comfort her daughters & family. She was a woman ahead of her time & had a great life.

I loved reading her column in the Republican. May she rest in peace.

Thank you, Barbara, for taking the time decades ago to share your broadcasting pictures with me. May your memory be a blessing to your family, friends and all who knew you.
