Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr. Waldon,

On behalf of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Barbara Berry-Waldon. Your loss is shared throughout the County of San Diego.

Your wife and her positive impact on the children of San Pasqual Academy will long be remembered in our shared history.

Because of Barbara's significant contributions to the community, I asked the Board of Supervisors to adjourn the February 12, 2008 meeting in her...

I am truly going to miss "babushka" as I remember her. She was a very special person and we shared things till this day no one knows about. I remember her smile and she always had a positive outlook on every situation regardless whether it was good or bad. She inspired me with her inner strengh. I pray that God provides comfort for Mike and his family in their time of need. I will never forget her. She was a true gift from God.

I was blessed and honored to work with Barbara Berry-Waldon at New Alternatives, Inc. She touched many lives, including my own. Barbara's strong leadership and passion for her "kids" at San Pasqual Academy will always be remembered.

Dr. Barbara, as I called her was one of the most caring and giving persons on earth. She cared about everyone in her orbit. She was more than my boss, she was my mentor and most of all my friend. She was always there for me for work and personal matters. She was always honest with you and you always knew where she stood on matters. She was sharp but she was always ready to share that with everyone. But most of all she was a strong advocate for the children she worked with. She was always...

Barbara will be missed. She was a pivotal influence in many lives, the kids and her staff among them. Her energy and enthusiasm go unmatched. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert and Michael and his family

Barbara understood the kids at san pasqual academy at a diffrent level then most people that worked there. She was an inspiration not only because she never doubted any of us but because at many times she would share her own experiences with me. She would give me the best advice she could. She never gave up on anybody. She was always so cheerful with my kids when I would take them up there, regardless of what anybody did she would always come through for anyone that needed anything. We will...

Barbara will be missed. I know this is a tremendous loss for Michael and his family. My prayers go out to them.

I miss your smile, your voice and your caring personality. May God bless your family.

I worked with Barbara in connection with many of my minor clients at San Pasqual. She was fantastic! Barbara genuinely cared about "her kids" at SPA and was an amazing advocate for them. I cannot imagine SPA without her and she will be missed.
