To the Family. Barbara was a dear classmate. When I arrived at SC State in 1971, Barbara and her sister Lillie were the first two young women I met. They were kind and invited me to stay with them a mile away from campus until my room came available. We have been good friends down through the years. I will miss her kind, quiet spirit.
