I knew Barbara for more than 50 years. She and I worked together for many years; I observed her many successes . She was determined and dedicated to learning so that she would be able to work effectively with her students. She loved each student and always knew exactly what to do and how to respond. She and I Shara great trip to Amsterdam. She was in awe and shared her experiences with so many friends. Barbara will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature. Thanks B for mentoring me.

My condolences to your family. I worked with Barbara at Perkins in the Deafblind program and remember the wonderful relationships she had with her students. I remember one in particular that would ask for Barbara by name with such joy. Those connections are what I remember about Barbara.

My deepest sympathies to all of Barbara's family. I had the pleasure of working with Barbara at Perkins School for the Blind since 1985. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. Her dedication to her students was immense. She loved teaching and it was evident every day! I am proud to have known her and learned from her example. Again, my condolences to the entire family.
